[Petition, 1784 May 24], to the honorable House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Petition of town residents to members of the House of Representatives in Massachusetts, requesting that Joshua Hubbard, a former Loyalist, not be admitted to serve in the General Court even if elected by his supporters in Kittery. Signed by 24 subscribers. Last page has note dated Nov 10, 1777 that the subscribers have information indicating that Daniel Odiorne, James Neal, and Joshua Hubbard are "inimically disposed towards the United States". Includes attestment by the Kittery Town Clerk that this document is a true copy of the complaint. Also includes a note that it was voted to accept this list of persons suspected to be inimical to the U.S. at a town meeting in Kittery on 10 November 1777.
